Cross country ski trip to Seefeld, Austria
For beginners and novice/improver skiers
14-21 January 2017

Seefeld cross country ski tracks

Trip update 14/11/16

This trip is now full and a reserve list operating in case of cancellations.

About the trip

Learn to cross country ski, or ski better on this holiday in Austria’s top cross country ski destination.  Located in the Tirol, the Seefeld area has an extensive network of beautiful trails to explore from easy to more challenging.  So if you’ve always wanted to try cross country skiing or learn how to ski with less effort, this is the holiday for you.

The skiing and tuition

You can enjoy 5 days’ expert tuition in small groups from the Club’s qualified instructors.  Beginners will soon find their ski legs and learn the basics while improvers can refresh their skills and take their skiing to the next level.  You’ll also have time to ski with other Club members, sightsee or simply relax.

You need a reasonable degree of fitness to get the most out of this trip and participating in the Club's roller ski courses is the best preparation for the holiday.

Accommodation

Based on 7 nights half board, this will be at the 3* Hotel Schoenegg which comes highly recommended for its food, facilities and friendly service.  The hotel offers an extensive buffet breakfast, 4 course evening meal and a free cake/pastry buffet every afternoon!

Travel

To get to Seefeld you will arrange you own flights to Innsbruck or Munich both of which have easy train and bus connections to the region.  We’ll help participants coordinate their transfers nearer the time.

Cost

The estimated price per person for 7 nights half board accommodation, flights and transfers is £700-800 based on exchange rates in March 2016.
