The Voie Verte has a good tarmac surface and runs for 85 km between Charleville–Mézières and Givet, near the Belgian border. We plan to tackle it in two sections, using the train [no charge for bikes] to return to our hotel base.  For non roller skiers, you can cycle and bikes can be hired near the hotel.

Accommodation: Half board at a two star hotel with ensuite facilities in all rooms approx 5 minutes from the Voie Verte.  Car parking and bicycle storage available.

Travel: Drive time using motorways from Calais is approximately 3 3/4hours
