Skiing Richmond Park 2 Feb 09

Wow a decent amount of snow in London.

Just managed a quick classic ski at lunchtime in Richmond Park. 

On some of the paths the snow was quite packed down by the walkers so it's possible to pick up a bit of pace. It was hard work though due to lack of track, bumpy surface, and tree roots.

Snow is very wet so difficult to get grip and the warmest wax (Swix lilac) I had wasn't working. Waxless skiis would be best.

Will try and have a skate this evening about 5.30pm at Kingston Gate.
