Cross country skiing and roller skiing

Join our community of cross country skiing enthusiasts based in and around the Capital and in the Cambridge area.  Find out about the benefits of joining LRNSC and more about this Club

Join and learn to roller ski - it's great for fitness and fun, plus it's the best way to prepare for cross country skiing.  There are sessions for children as well as tasters, courses and general training/practice sessions for adults. We also organise roller ski races. And you can cross country ski with us.  Plus you can discover cross country ski racing.

Club SUP session 5 August - book your place by 5 July

Stand-up paddleboarding is another sport that delivers a full body workout and complements nordic skiing.  There's a special private session for Club members in Paddington Basin that will include tuition and a guided tour of Paddington Basin, Little Venice and the Grand Union Canal.  See more details about this LRNSC event

There are still some places available and you need to book by 5 July.  See you on the water!

Sunday 10/6 - Roller ski the Cambridge Busway with us

On Sunday 10th June a Club group will be roller skiing along the Cambridge Busway - find out more and join us on this lovely roller ski tour with a choice of distances.

Results & photos from 15k & 7.5k FT roller ski races

Results and photos are now available from the first LRNSC roller ski race of the season.  Congratulations to the winners and everyone who took part and supported the race.

The next race takes place on Sunday 24 June and is a 10.5k/4.5k in classic style - enter here.

If you fancy racing in Scotland Huntly Nordic Ski Club has sent us details of Scottish races.

London Region Classic - results, video & photos

Congratulations to Frank Kelly [RAF], Jordan Andrews and Patrick Rodwell [both Hyde Park] for taking the first three places in the Men's race, with Steve Perry [RAF] in 4th place and first in the Master's category.  Winners of the Women's race were Ragnhild Camilla Schreiner [Hyde Park], Beth Ireland {LRNSC] and Sophie Townend [RAF] with Ulrike Rosedale first in the Master's category.  See the full results and lap times
