Join and learn to roller ski - it's great for fitness and fun, plus it's the best way to prepare for cross country skiing. There are sessions for children as well as tasters, courses and general training/practice sessions for adults. We also organise roller ski races. And you can cross country ski with us. Plus you can discover cross country ski racing.

Learn to cross country ski [without snow] at a roller ski taster
Friday, December 23, 2022 at 22:14 If you're going cross country skiing or have been thinking about trying roller skiing, you can get a flavour of the sport at one of our roller ski tasters. They take place on 22 January [am] and 12 February [pm] at Hillingdon Cycle Circuit - book your place now.
There'll also be children's roller skiing, coaching for intermediates and the opportunity for individual practice on this traffic-free circuit - book your place now.

LRNSC roller skiing & pizza party 4/12 - photos & video
Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 18:27 All winners - that was the verdict on the young Club members who attended the children's sessions through the autumn and improved their roller skiing skills. As a reward they all received one of the new Club multi-wraps/neckwarmers and a gold medal at the pizza party on Sunday - you can see some photos here as well as this short video of one of the fun games.

Next roller skiing + pizza party at Hillingdon on 4/12 + photos from 20/11 session

Our final roller ski session and end of year pizza party will be on 4/12 and you can book your place now - there'll be classic coaching for intermediates, the usual children's session and individual training/practice plus the last of the beginner course. Pizza will be free of charge but you do need to book so we know how many to order!
There are now photos in our gallery from 20/11 when along with our own coaching sessions, we were joined by Jordan Andrews and the impressive BNDS/BBU training group.

Annual dinner, next roller ski sessions & a round up of our 2023 on snow activities

Our next Cambridge roller ski session is on 12/11 and in west London on 20/11 - at both there'll be skate roller ski coaching for beginners and intermediates, plus the children's session and the opportunity for individual training/practice in London. Book your place here.

LRNSC at the Snow Show
Sunday, October 23, 2022 at 19:43 LRNSC together with GoXCski, RAF Nordic & Army Nordic successfully promoted nordic skiing at the recent snow show in Birmingham. Pauline, Megan, Glennis, Andy & Adam did a great job of promoting the Club and our sport. It was great to meet members in person, like long-standing member Allan Carter, whilst others like Andrew Kenyon got to meet up with their old mates, in his case Eddie the Eagle!
