Cross country skiing and roller skiing

Join our community of cross country skiing enthusiasts based in and around the Capital and in the Cambridge area.  Find out about the benefits of joining LRNSC and more about this Club

Join and learn to roller ski - it's great for fitness and fun, plus it's the best way to prepare for cross country skiing.  There are sessions for children as well as tasters, courses and general training/practice sessions for adults. We also organise roller ski races. And you can cross country ski with us.  Plus you can discover cross country ski racing.

12/6 Race results - 15/7.5km classic [GB Series]

You can see the results here. Congratulations go to Matthew Chronicle [Wessex], Martin Watkins [Wessex] and Szymon Orlowski [LRNSC] who took the first 3 overall places, and Holly Rees-Lay [Hyde Park], Zara Stewart [Wessex] and Emma Brant [Hyde Park] who were the first 3 females. You can find the results for the 12km and 6km FT events on this results page.

Congratulations go to Senior category winners Zara Stewart [BBU] and Matthew Chronicle [Wessex], and to Ella Ford [Hyde Park] and Matthew Hand [Yorkshire Dales] in the Under 18 category.  Well done and thank you to everyone who participated and supported the event.

15/5 GB series race entry open

You can now enter the next race in the GB series that we're running in the afternoon on 15/5.  It will be free technique over 15km or 6km for juniors and novices.  Race entry will close at 6pm on Friday 13/5.

NEW Coaching for intermediate roller skiers & race news

Just added to our programme is coaching for intermediate roller skiers in west London starting on 10 April. Skate and classic sessions will be offered through the year and you can choose which to attend. You can book any five sessions for the price of four, or opt for single sessions. NEW Roller ski tasters, learn to roller ski course for beginners

Come and try roller skiing at one of our Spring tasters on 10 or 24 April - find out more

There'll also be children's roller skiing, plus the opportunity for individuals to train/practice, providing they can ski safely on their own, on those dates.  Book your place now - limited places for the taster and booking closes 8/5.
