Still need to plan a cross country skiing holiday this season, or want to go again?  Here are two ideas for skiing in Scandinavia that are well worth considering.

You could join the Club's cross country skiing holiday to Akaslompolo inside the Arctic Circle in Finnish Lapland from 11-18 March, based on Ingham's holidays.

Or you could improve your nordic skiing skills with top notch instructors on Snowsport England's Nordic Skills and Multi-Activity course at Kvitavatn in Norway from 25th March to 1st April.

If neither of these appeal, have a look at the cross country skiing holidays offered by XC Uk and Exodus Travels.

And if you want to plan a challenge for 2013 how about the 440 km Border to Border guided cross country ski tour across Finland from Russian to the Swedish border, otherwise known as Rajalta Rajalle Hiihto?  It's run in classical style and you must register 31st December 2012.
