Why become an LRNSC member?
The club provides a varied, year-round programme of activities in and around London, as well as cross country ski trips abroad to help you enjoy nordic skiing even more.
Our annual membership fees are just:
- Individual £20.00
- Family £30.00
- Youth £5.00
Snowport England membership
From 1/11/25 you also need to be a member of the national governing body, Snowsport England [SE] for insurance purposes.
- The Club is covering the cost of basic Green tier membership, and handling the necessary administration, for members [for whom LRNSC is their primary club] until 31/10/26. See more information about SE membership tiers and benefits.
- Please note that some of our Club acitivities require a higher tier SE membership and if you wish to participate in these you will need to upgrade yourself via SE's Sport 80 system. See a guide to our activities and the required SE membership tiers.
- Children aged 11 and under (on 1 November each year) get their first year of Snowsport England Blue membership for free.
- For adults joining in the period 1/11/25-31/10/26 the Club will also pay for your basic SE Green tier membership.
- During this same period if you are new to nordic skiing with the Club, Snowsport England membership is not required for your first three sessions, so we will pay for your SE Green tier membership when you attend a fourth session.

Snowsport England offers a range of discounts and other benefits from the Blue membership tier upwards please go to their website for further information.
NB The maximum age for personal accident and travel insurance under their scheme is 75.
Club activities, information and insurance
- A full programme of roller ski tuition and coaching for members at all levels over three locations: West London, Cambridge area and Kent.
- Free roller ski training and practice sessions at Hillingdon Cycle Circuit.
- Cross country ski trips organised by members for members.
- Roller ski challenge events and races.
- Social events eg walks, annual dinner, kayaking trips where you can meet other skiing enthusiasts.
- Newsletters [four per year] - share your news, views and pictures.
- Regular email updates - sign up here.
- Cross country skiing and roller skiing knowledge from the member network - tap into members' wealth of experience.
- Facebook page & Instagram for social networking, planning trips and training.
- LRNSC membership is administered through the Membermojo system to safeguard your privacy and enable you to join, renew your membership and update your details securely.
- Security of insurance at Club events from Snowsport England, the governing body for snowsports in England, to which LRNSC is affiliated. You must also be an individual member of Snowsport England. This will be covered and administered by the Club from 1/11/25 to 30/10/26. You will be started automatically on the Green tier and can decide if you wish to upgrade, depending on the required level for the club activities you wish to attend.

- LRNSC membership runs from the 1st January to 31st December - fees are payable annually from the date you join.
- Youth members and children in family membership must be under 18 on December 31st of the membership year.
- On receipt of your membership fee you'll be sent a copy of our latest newsletter and added to our email database so you receive updates on our activities and benefit from your membership straight away [you can unsubscribe at any time].
