Snow show success!

The London Snow Show at ExCel last weekend rounded off National Snow Week. Promoting cross country skiing and roller skiing was the aim of super organiser Pauline's LRNSC team, with help from RAF Nordic.
The core team [Pauline, Glennis, Megan and Dagmar] also went to the previous week's Birmingham Snow Show, and at both events they welcomed extra LRNSC volunteers to help make the events a success - thanks to you all.
Free roller ski tasters were quickly fully booked and nearly 300 people of all ages tried our sport at the shows.
Eddie the Eagle visited the stand as well as Dominic McGonigal, Chair of the Snowsport England Board and Simon Levene, Finance Director. Dominic bravely took a roller ski taster and went away with a much better understanding of what we're about. We're optimistic that this will benefit nordic clubs in the future.
